Imaginary Conversations with Myself, Volume 1 - Issue 6

“Remember Bike Mice From Mars?”

“I’d rather not.”

“Have you no curiosity?”

“It’s all been chronicled.”

“Bradbury or Narnia?”

“Bradbury, but you can’t burn paper on Mars. There isn’t any oxygen.”

“There was air on Malacandra.”

“But they didn’t have books.”

“It’s okay. They couldn’t read.”

“Such a strange land. No oxygen, no water…”

“Water brothers?”

“That’s a water boy.”

“I think you’re thinking of groundhogs day.”

“Oh, did I mix those up again?”

“Yeah, you’re crossing the streams.”

“With the bridge over the river Kwai.”

“Just take the 3:10 to Yuma.”

“I don’t see the connection…”

“There isn’t one. I just hope Jimmy Stewart can swim.”

“Gosh that water had to be cold.”

“I wouldn’t have jumped.”

“Yeah. Go down with the ship. Like a gentleman.”

“Or the captain?”

“Captain my Captain?”

“Actually I was thinking of Mal. Which reminds me, I need to go watch Castle.”
