The Fictitious Trip Journal of Aaron Mitchell – Day 9

Okay, so it’s technically not illegal to dress up as the Pope when taking a tour of the Vatican, but it’s apparently slightly frowned upon.

Slightly.

Another thing I learned today is that the Sistine Chapel has nice acoustics. And if you are dressed up as the Pope people will stop and look at you if you raise your voice loud enough.

Also, security is really tight in these parts. Jokes about graffiti are taken quite seriously… even when they come from someone dressed up as the Pope.

That said… I’m pretty sure I got to see some back rooms that most people aren’t allowed to go. Whatever that’s worth.
